Warmer than average winter to continue

The latest 6-10 day outlook from the National Weather Service calls for above-normal temps and dry weather for Illinois.

RFD Radio's Alan Jarand spoke this week with DTN meteorologist Bryce Anderson about how long the warmer than normal winter weather will continue across Illinois and parts of the Midwest.

The Illinois State Water Survey's climatologist Jim Angel says last month's weather was the 9th warmest December on record for the state.
