More than high school sports seasons were upended yesterday.
The Governor and the Illinois Department of Public Heath released guidelines for everything from club to high school to adult recreational leagues. JB Pritzker says the level of activity allowed for a specific sport will be predicated on the amount of contact a sport requires.
Currently the sports with the lowest amount of contact are allowed to compete up to what the IDPH is calling level three. That includes conference and non-conference play and even state championships.
