The more seasonal weather this week has been a blessing. Planting progress was rapid in the early part of the week before the rain. I would estimate planting progress is 75% or greater. Wednesday rains brought a welcome inch. There were localized pockets that had more or less. Corn and bean fields continue to pop out of the ground. The beans planted right before the snow have germinated and are making their way up. Early crop conditions are better than expected.
