Organizers of the Greater Peoria Farm Show postponed this year’s event until spring 2021 due to ongoing coronavirus mitigation efforts.

The 39th annual event, originally scheduled for Dec. 1-3 and billed as the largest indoor farm show in Illinois, will now be held March 9-11, if possible.

Midwest Farm shows is currently working with the Peoria Civic Center, exhibitors, the host hotel (Marriott Pere Marquette) and other partners to ensure a smooth transition to the new dates.

“It has really been amazing to see how supportive and responsive people have been,” said John K. Riles, president of Midwest Shows. “We are grateful for their efforts and are eager to host the event in March, just as area farmers are gearing up for the 2021 planting season.”

The spring version of the Peoria Farm Show will feature more than 300 exhibitors with the latest in agricultural equipment and services, along with educational seminars, based on current plans. For more information, visit the website,, or call Midwest Shows at 507-437-7969.
