Soybean risk webinar

Setting up the right environment for soybeans to flourish in the early stages of the life cycle is crucial to improving yield potential.

That will be the topic of an ILSoyAdvisor webinar at 10 a.m. Feb. 20. Victoria Kleczewski, GROWMARK insect and plant disease technical manager, will look at different early season diseases and insects that can affect soybean yields later in the season.

USB nominees sought

The Illinois Soybean Board (ISB) is looking for farmers interested in filling one of Illinois' four director positions with the United Soybean Board (USB).

Any soybean producer who grows soybeans or who shares ownership and risk of loss of is eligible. To be considered, farmers must complete an application and "Agreement to Serve" statement, and return them to the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) by March 2.
