Producers interested in applying for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) may watch a USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) webinar prior to applying.
The webinar dates and topics include:
- Tuesday, June 16, at 2 p.m.: FSA will discuss information specific to nonspecialty crop and livestock producers.
- Thursday, June 18, at 2 p.m.: FSA will discuss CFAP, in addition to FSA programs with added flexibility due to COVID-19. They will also review other funding options for beginning and underserved farmers and ranchers.
The webinars will be led by CFAP national program specialists. Participants will also learn more about the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), the process for submitting additional commodities to USDA for eligibility consideration. The NOFA deadline is June 22.

CFAP sign-up will remain open at local county FSA offices through Aug. 28.
